The Silk Cotton Tree is the home of many malevolent spirits from the Rolling Calf of in Jamaica to the Asanbosam of Ghana. In this original short story, I tell the story of how curiosity got the better of a young man, who dared approach the Silk Cotton Tree and encountered one of its inhabitants.
